Most audio apps split their catalogue by language, so a Tamil listener gets a fraction of what a Hindi listener gets. SagaFM dubs everything, so language becomes a setting rather than a boundary.

How we handle AI voices

Synthetic audio only works if listeners and narrators can trust it.

  • Every AI-narrated title is labelled as AI-narrated, in the app and on the show page.
  • Voice cloning requires signed, revocable consent from the voice owner.
  • Creators opt in to AI dubbing per title — never applied to a catalogue by default.
  • Report a bad AI voice from inside the player; flagged audio is pulled pending review.

More languages are added only after native-speaker reviewers sign off on the dub quality. We would rather ship eight good ones than twenty bad ones.

Roadmap

What we are building, in order

No dates — we ship a phase when the quality is there rather than committing to a calendar we cannot stand behind. The sequence, though, is fixed.
